Memory and protocol values describe the IC. Actual read performance depends on the finished antenna, enclosure, reader and operating environment.
Match the complete part number, reader command set and data format before qualification. Frequency alone does not establish interoperability.
Integration and qualification
Validate the modulation, bit rate and identifier format with the installed low frequency reader. NFC phones do not read 125 kHz credentials. For programmed formats, agree a sample identifier and confirm how the host system interprets it.
Specify wrist size, fit, wearing duration and cleaning conditions. Test the credential while worn, including wet use when relevant to the approved construction.
Approve an encoded sample in the finished application before volume production. Define acceptance criteria for identification, memory access, printed data and repeated operation.
Define your production requirement.
