Memory and protocol values describe the IC. Actual read performance depends on the finished antenna, enclosure, reader and operating environment.

Match the complete part number, reader command set and data format before qualification. Frequency alone does not establish interoperability.

Integration and qualification

Confirm the reader protocol, supported commands, identifier format and application memory layout. If the application requires authentication, align the reader and issuing system with the selected IC and security configuration.

Define finished label size, antenna footprint, application surface and adhesive. For rolls, include winding direction, pitch, liner width, core diameter and printer model. An IC option may require a minimum antenna size.

Approve an encoded sample in the finished application before volume production. Define acceptance criteria for identification, memory access, printed data and repeated operation.

Define your production requirement.
