A PVC and epoxy tag platform with a printable surface and a choice of round, rectangular and key ring formats. Combine branded artwork, numbering and the selected RFID IC for identification and customer interaction projects.

Memory and protocol values describe the IC. Actual read performance depends on the finished antenna, enclosure, reader and operating environment.

Define application identifiers, file types, access rights and key provisioning with the system integrator. Available application space depends on the file system and configuration.

Compatibility modes do not remove the need to validate reader firmware, authentication and transaction behavior.

EV3 adds Transaction Timer and Secure Dynamic Messaging. These features require deliberate system configuration.

Integration and qualification

Specify the application identifiers, file structure, authentication algorithm, key versions and access rights. Validate a personalized sample with the installed reader firmware and issuing software. A successful UID read is not proof that an application transaction will work.

Check key ring attachment, handling and scan orientation. Assess the fob alongside keys and other metal objects under normal use.

Approve an encoded sample in the finished application before volume production. Define acceptance criteria for identification, memory access, printed data and repeated operation.
